We are thrilled to announce the imminent release of iinsight version 7.0.0, packed with powerful new features designed to enhance efficiency and streamline operations, allowing you to optimize your workforce management like never before!

Transformed User Availability Scheduling: Our enhanced scheduling system now offers unparalleled flexibility, allowing you to manage user availability with ease. This update includes comprehensive scheduling options that integrate location tracking, break management, and the seamless logging of holiday and sick leave.

Advanced Appointment Roster Functions: Keep your team organized and informed with our new appointment roster capabilities. Implement case-level rostering and effortlessly assign staff to shifts and appointments. Stay ahead with automated notifications for upcoming shifts and appointments that need assignment, ensuring no task goes unmonitored.

Streamlined Financial Deposits & Pre-Payments: Simplify your financial transactions with our new feature that enables you to hold prepaid funds against Bill To companies. This allows for a more efficient invoicing process, as you easily draw down from these funds, ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations.

Appointment Buffers and Travel Time Calculation: Enhance your scheduling efficiency with automatically calculated appointment travel time, adding the necessary buffer to the start of you appointments to ensure your schedules are realistic and prevent overlap, helping you manage your time more effectively.

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO EXISTING ELEMENTS...

In addition to the new features outlined above as part of our 7.0.0 release, please note the following existing elements have changed to support the new features:

Consultant Availability and Blocking changes

As part of the new Roster and Availability Scheduling features in 7.0.0, the current Consultant Availability and Blocking functions in the Admin > Manage Users > User Details area have been removed:


...and have been replaced by the Availability Scheduling features found in the new User Availability tab:

User Access, View and Modify permission tab changes

In the Admin > Manage Users area, the 3 permission related tabs for User Access, User View and User Modify:

...have been combined into a single tab called User Permissions (which now emulates the view in the Admin > User Profiles area):


​In addition, the "User Profile" field to assign permissions via a profile to a user account, has been removed from the User Details tab:


​...and now resides at the top of the new User Permissions tab so it is in the same area as the permission boxes directly:


These changes aim to bring consistency to the different ways user permissions can be assigned, and simplify the Manage Users view by removing the need to navigate between 4 different tabs when setting and checking assigned user permissions in this area.
