Selecting Case Notes to Transfer
Updated over 7 months ago

IMPORTANT: When sending Case Notes in a Secure Transfer, a PDF file will be created and added to the Documentation on the case. This allows the notes document sent to be marked as "Disclosed" as well as a record of the notes sent to be maintained in the format the contact(s) will have received, that is able to be viewed or sent again if required.

The default title of this document will be the Case Number followed by "Case Notes" and the date the notes document was created. For example, "RD1 Case Notes 28-04-2024.pdf".

If required, this can be renamed.

PLEASE NOTE: Should you wish to send both Case Notes and existing Documentation in the same iSecureLink transfer (instead of 2 separate links), first select the Case Notes to transfer, and then add the required existing documentation to the transfer in at stage 1 of the transfer wizard when Confirming Documents to Transfer.

When selecting Case Notes to send via an iSecureLink Transfer, first apply any search terms and/or filters needed to the Case Notes table to restrict to the notes you require:

Once the notes you wish to transfer are loaded into the table, select Secure Transfer from the context menu at the top of the Case Notes tab:

Upon clicking Secure Transfer you will be presented with a preview of the notes document to be created for review in the main window, alongside options to be able to set the Title, Date, Details, Role, Author, Labels and Document Status of the case notes document about to be created and transferred:

Once you have reviewed the case notes document, click Create & Transfer at the bottom right of the window.

This will take you to to the New Secure Transfer wizard where the case notes document will be automatically added to the table to transfer for you to confirm and send.
