We are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of iinsight v6.9.0, introducing a myriad of user interface enhancements designed to streamline your experience and boost efficiency, alongside our standout new secure document transfer feature 'iSecureLink'!
iSecureLink Secure Document Transfers
iSecureLink is specifically engineered to enhance the security and integrity of data exchanges, allowing users to securely transfer and disclose sensitive documentation and case notes to third parties directly from the case file, without compromising confidentiality.
The benefits of iSecureLink include:
Enhanced Security: Utilising advanced encryption standards, iSecureLink ensures that all transferred data remains protected against unauthorised access and breaches.
Controlled Access: Senders can set expiration times and access conditions, granting them complete control over who views the data and for how long.
Compliance Assurance: By safeguarding sensitive information during transfer, and with comprehensive audit logs, iSecurelink helps organizations comply with data protection regulations like GDPR, HIPAA and PIPEDA.
Streamlined Collaboration: iSecureLink sharing facilitates smoother collaboration with external parties, such as referrers, legal teams, or healthcare providers, enhancing operational efficiency.
User-Friendly Interface: Integrating seamlessly with your existing iinsight platform, iSecureLink is designed for ease of use, making secure document sharing straightforward and hassle-free.
By incorporating iSecureLink into your daily operations, you can maintain the highest standards of data security while improving the efficacy and compliance of your document-sharing processes.

New "Disclosed" Date and Document Status
When sending Documentation to a 3rd party contact, either via email or from the new Secure Transfer feature, you now have the ability to select to set a Disclosed status on the document.
IMPORTANT: once a document is "Disclosed" it cannot have its status changed back to any other (as this version is deemed to have been locked and disclosed to 3rd parties).
Should you need to perform further modifications on a document that is "Disclosed" it will need to be "Cloned" and the modifications performed on the new version of the document. "Disclosed" documents can however still be deleted if required.
When sending documents via email using Email Doc, the documents in the email can be set to "Disclosed" by enabling the checkbox for Set emailed document(s) as "Disclosed":
When sending documents via the new iSecureLink Secure Transfer, the documents in the transfer can be set to "Disclosed" by enabling the checkbox for Mark all documents as "Disclosed" in stage 3 of the transfer wizard:
PLEASE NOTE: with this release setting documents as "Disclosed" is only currently able to be performed when sending documentation via email or the iSecureLink Secure Transfers. In a future release we will be adding the ability to also set documents as "Disclosed" manually outside of these features.
Also when enabling this setting, upon sending the email or transfer, the document will have it's status set to "Disclosed" (Green circle with a padlock icon), and the current date will be set as the "Disclosed Date" in the documentation table:
IMPORTANT: if a document being included in the email or transfer has already been "Disclosed", the date will not change and the date of first disclosure will be maintained.
Just as with an "Approved" document, the content of a "Disclosed" document cannot be modified and instead a read only PDF version will be provided (for Word files), when using Open Doc.
The ability to select to "Disclose" documentation is controlled by a User Modify Permission called "Can disclose documents":
โ
If this permission is "Enabled" then a user will be able to select to set documents as disclosed when emailing or transferring.
If this permission is "Disabled" then a user will not be able to select to set documents as disclosed when emailing or transferring.
