The Appointment is accessed through the Appointments icon on the main menu bar.

In the Appointment menu, the following sections are available:

  • + New button

Allows users to create new Appointments

  • Export button

Allows users to Export the Appointment list in the Excel file

  • All Appointments dropdown

Allows the user to filter the Appointment list by using the filter options available

  • Day/Employee dropdown

Allows the user to change the Appointment View by using the different view options available for example Week/Employee, Month/Employee, Year, etc.

  • Date with Forward and Backward buttons

Allowing the user to change the date with Forward and Backward buttons

  • Appointment Count

Allows users to see the total created Appointments count on the selected date in the Appointment view

  • Today button

Used to select the Today date in the Appointment view

  • Refresh icon

Used to refresh the Appointment view

  • Calander Integration Icon

Used to connect the IInsight Calendar with other Calendars for example Gmail, Outlook, etc.

  • Appointment Legend icon

Allows users to view the different icons used in the Appointment section

Adding a new Calendar entry

To add a new Calendar entry, click the 'New' button or double-click over the date/time field. This provides the user with a pop-up window to enter the appointment details.

The user can fill in as much detail as is required. Once the Client Name is selected, the billing details will automatically allow the Activity or Item to be selected from the dropdown boxes under "Associate with a Billing". The consultant responsible can also be added here.

Note that the system allows overlapping times by ensuring that the "Allow Overlap" box is checked.

Click on Save and the appointment information is saved.

Editing and Deleting a Calendar entry

Once the Appointment is created user can edit the Appointment by using Right Click over the Appointment>Click on the Edit button or double-clicking over the Appointment

Also, users can delete the Appointment by right click over the appointment>click on the Delete button or in the Appointment Edit Window>Delete button

Permissions

To access the Appointment menu section on the Admin>Manage User>User Access tab we have the following permissions under the Appointment section:

  • Can access appointments

Allows the user to access the Appointment menu

  • Can access all employee's appointments

Allows users to access all users appointments

  • Can access appointments assigned to this employee's team

Allows users to access the employee's team appointments
