IINSIGHT 6.7.5 brings you Zoom and Teams Meetings integration directly into your appointments!
Please find further information on the following elements below:
Setting up Teams Meetings integration
Prior to users being able to link their individual Teams accounts to create meetings, your iinsight® platform will need to be linked to your Microsoft tenancy in the Azure Active Directory (recently renamed to "Microsoft Enrta ID").
The general process can be found outlined in the article below:
Create New App in Microsoft Azure
The resulting information from the app setup needs to be populated into the Options > Security > Microsoft Integration tab; under the Tennant field, and the Teams related App ID, App Secret and App Secret Value fields:
IMPORTANT: If you have already implemented the Microsoft Calendar integration, you will only need to complete the Teams related fields for App ID, App Secret and App Secret Value as your "Tenant" information will be the same across both.
Once the above app registration is completed, individual users can link their Teams Meetings with iinsight®, by “granting” access to their teams account in the Appointments area, by performing the following:
1. In the Appointments area, click the Calendar Integration button found at the top right of the table:
2. In the Calendar Integration window that popup up, click the “Grant” button next to the Microsoft Teams option:
3. This will take you the Microsoft login page where you need to enter your Microsoft Teams Username and Password:
PLEASE NOTE: you may not need to login and the page will skip straight to step 4 in this list if you are already logged into your MS services.
4. After successfully logging in to MS Teams, your account will be linked and you will be redirected back to your iinsight® Appointments area.
Should you ever need to remove this link, you can click "Revoke" in the Calendar Integrations and it will disconnect the connection to your Teams Meetings from iinsight®:
