The fifth step of case creation allows the user to set the case status (for most cases this will be 'Open' at the time of creation), as well as to assign the case to an individual employee, and a team.
The 'Case No' field allows a unique identifier to be applied to the case, which will be used in searching and sorting the case in the future, as well as to refer to it specifically.
The 'Comments' field allows a note to be appended to the case as a future reference.
When all case details have been entered and are finalized clicking 'Finish' will save the case, adding it to the case list and completing the case creation process.
Status
Specifies the initial status of the new case.
Assigned to
Specifies the team member to which the new case is assigned.
Team
Specifies the Team to which the team member is assigned for this case.
Case No
Determines the unique case number which will be assigned to the new case, and used as a permanent and unique identifier.
Comments
Notes related to the new case will be stored permanently alongside the case entry.
