Creating a New Case Overview
Updated over 8 months ago

Clicking '+Case' on the left-hand pane of the case list will open the new case interface.

Alternatively, the new case interface can also be opened through the Quicklinks menu at the side of the screen.

This will allow the user to create a new case to be added to the Iinsight system through a simple step-by-step process of defining the details relating to the case, relevant employment and referral details, as well as the organization for the case to be billed to according to the steps detailed below. These steps are further outlined in the following pages.

  • Step 1: Case Type.

The first step of case creation allows the user to determine key case information, along with whether the case relates to a company or an individual, and the associated contact and case details. It is possible to check both Physical Claims and Psychological claims if both apply. The service contract, invoice templates and letterheads to be used are selected here.

  • Step 2: Employment Details.

The second step of case creation allows the user to determine the client's employment details, including employment status and the full contact details of the relevant past or current employer.

  • Step 3: Referral Details.

The third step of case creation allows the user to determine the referring organization or individual, along with the relevant contact information and the requirement of the referral. Clicking the 'Employer' button will copy the contact details of the client's employer to also serve as the referrer's contact details.

  • Step 4: Bill To Company

The fourth step of case creation allows the user to determine the organization to which the case will be billed and the relevant organization details. As in step 3, the contact details of both the employer and/or the referrer can be copied to serve as the billing contact details.

  • Step 5: Save

The fifth step of case creation allows the user to set a case status while assigning the case to both an individual and a team.

Note: You can search by contact Company Name or Contact Name (which will display their associated company) when adding the Employer, Bill To & Referrer Details in the case creation process.
