Standard Cost
The standard cost is the default option for a standard invoice and is also included in a regular batch invoice run.
Single Cost that Requires Immediate Invoicing
The single cost can be used for any costs that are required to be invoiced immediately, for example; same-day services.
Milestone
The Milestone feature is very useful when you need to Invoice a group of costs using the Same Service Contract at a particular point in time. The costs using the same Service Contract are all created in the usual way until you have finished that particular job and then for the very last cost you need to select the checkbox for the ‘This Cost completes a Milestone’ option as below:
Then this cost and all the previous costs for the time frame you require using this Service Contract can be invoiced at once when you go to the Quicklinks Menu / Invoicing and for the Invoice Criteria select the appropriate Service Contract, Date Range and then choose the Option: Invoice Type - Only Include: Milestone Costs as per the below screenshot:
