Creating a New TimeSheet
Updated over 8 months ago

Clicking 'Billing' on the left-hand pane of the 'Timesheet' interface will open the New Timesheet Billing wizard.

Use the Search fields to select the case to which the cost needs to be added. Search fields include Case number, Claim number and Injured worker's surname.

Then create a new timesheet entry through a simple process as detailed below:

  • Case

Determines the case to which the timesheet applies, ensuring that billing is processed to the correct agency and that the records stored in the Iinsight system remain accurate.

  • Description

Provides a description of the timesheet entry, clarifying the information that it contains for the administrator or any other viewer in the future.

  • Time & Rate

Identifies the time and duration of the timesheet entry being created, along with the hourly rate which applies. This information will allow an accurate billing calculation to be made. In addition, it is through this control that the decision to apply or disregard GST can be determined.

  • Other Details

Allows the user to attach other relevant information to the timesheet entry. This includes fields to record the date, team and kilometres travelled, as well as a notes field to record any other important information. It is also at this stage that the timesheet entry can be marked as requiring an invoice.

Note: Uninvoiced costs can be edited using the right hand pane, invoiced costs cannot.
