Timesheets Overview

The 'Timesheet' interface is used by the employee to produce timesheets for the relevant period by logging their activities according to the time invested and the charge rate that applies.

Timesheets can be searched and sorted in detail. A summary is previewed in the left-hand pane with further details provided in the right-hand pane. The interface controls for this system are detailed below.

'Billing' button

Allowing the user to add an Activity or Item to the timesheet

'Group Billing' button

Allowing the user to add Group Billing to the timesheet

'Internal Expenses' button

Allowing the user to add Internal Expenses to the timesheet

'Delete' button

Allow the user to add an Activity or Item to the timesheet

'Export' button

Allow the user to create a report of the timesheet and export it to a chosen format eg. Excel

'Employee' Dropdown Filter

Used to filter the timesheets displayed in the Timesheet List to display timesheets entered by the selected employee exclusively

'Date Range' dropdown

Used to select the default date range option for example All Dates, Today, Last Week, etc.

'From' and 'To' Drop Down Filters

Used to filter the timesheets displayed in the Timesheet List to display only those that were entered between the dates selected.

'Total' Fields

Dynamically calculates and displays the total duration and charge for all current Activities and Items

Search button

Used to filter the timesheet list with the specific search criteria

'Field Edit' button

This button is used to determine the fields displayed for each timesheet table currently shown in the timesheet list.

'Cost Type' Filter

This filter is used to filter the timesheet list based on Cost status for example All Cost, Invoiced Cost, Uninvoiced Cost, On Hold, etc.

'Include Internal Expenses' checkbox

This checkbox is used to display the internal expenses list in the timesheet

'Details' button

This button is used to display the selected cost details in the timesheet

'Save as Draft' button

This button is used to save the cost of Draft in the timesheet

'Submit' button

This button is used to save the cost after the edit cost in the timesheet

'Employee Expense' button

This button is used to display the selected cost Employee Expense details in the timesheet
