Publishing a Workflow
Updated over 12 months ago

Once the workflow has been edited and finalized, it can be saved either as a draft or as a published workflow using the options in the publishing bar displayed in the top right-hand corner of the workflow interface.

This is a simple process, controlled through the four options:

Save As > Published

Saves and publishes the workflow, which will become visible to users and will immediately begin to list required tasks in the Message Center - Workflow To-Do lists of users who are assigned cases that relate to the Workflow's service contract. Once the "Starting Point" is triggered, the Workflow is initiated.

Save As > Offline/Draft

Saves the workflow, but does not publish it. The workflow becomes a permanent record which can be edited or published in the future, but cannot be seen by users without sufficient access privileges and will not influence the To-Do Lists of any users.

Cancel

Abandons the workflow editing process and discards any changes made. If the workflow has not previously been saved, it will be permanently lost. If the workflow has been saved, only changes made prior to the last save will be preserved.

Delete

Removes the workflow.
