Durability
Workcover NSW has a requirement to confirm "durable job placement" at 13 weeks after placement in a Return To Work rehabilitation service for either the same or different employer. However, the concept of “durability” may be useful to other domains beyond Workcover NSW as it is both client andservice contract independent.
Workcover Rehabilitation Information Bulletin No. 5: "When the provider considers that the worker’s employment is likely to be durable, the provider will advise the worker that they will be in contact in 13 weeks to confirm durability of employment placement and encourage the worker to contact the provider if difficulties arise during the 13 week period."
The Provider will notify the insurer of the above, and invoice the insurer for future advice regarding the confirmation of employment durability.
iinsight now has the ability to record this in a feature called "Durability" comprising:

A new setting for the service contract:
Number of days for the durability reminders
A second setting can be applied if this checkbox is also turned on and the number of days entered
A new reminder will be displayed in both the Message Centre and the PDF emailed reminders.
This will be set via the Charges menu - Service Contract interface.
The PDF will include Case number, Injured worker's name, all phone contact details.
The Team Leader's report will also display the Consultant's name.
Both the Case List Report and the case grid will display the durability outcome and assessment date.
Note that durability performance calculations are not included.
Automated Plans enhancement
A change has been made to the way Automatic Plans function. Currently, the following setting highlighted in today's iinsight Knowledge Base applies:
Note: All older plans need to be set to Automatic in order for this to activate. If any plans are manually set, this will override the Automatic feature.
After the Version 4.4.2 update, this will be modified so that the last plan setting will override all earlier settings. For example,
if a scheduled plan is set, then all earlier plans will be set to automatic as well.
if a manual plan is set as the last plan, then all earlier plans will be also made manual. In this instance, it will be the iinsight user's responsibility to manage the Plan start and end dates.
Case Log - Plan activity logging
Additional audit information has been added to the Case Log for updates to Plans if the following occur:
Plan created
Plan deleted
Change to the ‘current plan’
Saving plan as...
Plan template updates
Admin - Report Permissions
New permissions have been added to to allow users to view the additional specific reports:
Closure Report - Bill to, Employer, Referrer
Closure Report - Employee
Referrer Source Report
RTW Details Report
These permissions are enabled via the Admin menu - User View tab at the bottom of the list below.
Invoices Report -Enhancement
To enable a selected reprint of a range of invoices in PDF format, iinsight has introduced a new filter in the Invoices Report that will allow users to choose from eithert:
All - currently this is the default;
Unpaid - only unpaid invoices, including partially paid invoices; or
Paid - only paid invoices
The checkbox below to "Exclude Invoices with no charges" should also be turned on to exclude any invoices with a $0.00 value.
