iPad and Android Support in Beta Version

Access from mobile devices including iPad2 and Android is now in Beta version. Users are invited to give a try along the next 2 or 3 weeks and provide us feedback.

Multiple Document Upload

iinsight users have been asking for a feature allowing them to upload multiple documents to a case all at once. iinsight version 5 has this new feature. There is extra functionality implemented for Chrome and Safari users but Internet Explorer users can also use a simplified version.

Internet Explorer

Go to the Documentation tab as highlighted below:

Press Multiple button which will then give you the below window:

Then, click on "Browse for files" button in the top left hand corner of the screen. Then,

select the file(s) you would like to attach as per the below example:

To attach more files, repeat this process by pressing Browse for files again.

Safari and Google Chrome

The new Multi Document Upload window has an additional functionality in Safari and Google Chrome as shown below:

As can be seen in above screenshot, users can drag files directly from their file system and then attach to the case. However, users are also able to select files by pressing "Browse for files". On mobile devices, Browse for files allows users to take a photo or browse the file system. After files are selected and/or dragged, the Attach files button will attach all files to the case’s documentation.

Fields From and To Were Removed from Cost Windows

There is a new change which replaces fields From/To Time in All Cost windows. It now displays Duration instead of Start & Finished which is more user friendly and less time consuming. Please see below example.

Under the Case lists tab in iinsight, select Activity as below:

The new field now shows Duration as marked below:

New "Case" Group by Option for Billings by Employee Grouped Report

The Billings by Employee Grouped report can be used to determine the case load for each consultant over the selected period of time. It can now be sub-totalled by "Case".

An enhancement is contained in this report in order to make it easier for Management. The modified report will include a sub-total of the number of cases assigned to each Consultant next to the Consultant name.

For example. Iinsight software support has 13 current cases assigned out of 17 as per below:

This new "Case" group option now has Client name added and also has a new field called "current" indicating that a case is current - "X"means "current". It also shows the total number of cases per employee as per the below example:
