It is now possible on IINSIGHT (v6.3.3) to create your own custom MS Word based Financial Templates for the following transaction types:

+New will open the "New Finance Template" window allowing you upload a new template for a transaction type.

Open will open the selected finance template in MS Word for editing (please note this requires the Office add-on for Windows or for Mac to be installed).

Edit will open the "Edit Finance Template" allowing the details and certain settings of the finance template selected to be edited.

Delete will delete the selected finance template from IINSIGHT.

Assigning Financial Templates

Each finance template type (invoice, payment, adjustment and refund) can be assigned at a Service Contract level as well as uniquely on a Case if required.

Service Contract:

Financial templates can be assigned to a Service Contract in the Options tab using the "Finance Templates" button:

Clicking this "Finance Templates" button will open the Finance Templates window where templates for invoices, payments, adjustments and refunds can be selected from those uploaded in the main Tempaltes area of IINSIGHT:

Any cases that does not have a uniquely assigned template will use the templates set here on the Service Contract when Printing or Emailing any financial transaction documents.

If no custom template is assigned, then this will automatically be set to "System Default" which will revert to the standard IINSIGHT default template when printing or emailing that transaction type.

Case:

If a template, different to that set on the Service Contract, is required on a Case then this can be assigned to the Case uniquely in the Case List > Accounts tab using the Finance Templates link above the table:

Clicking this link will open the Finance Templates window for the Case where a templates for invoices, payments, adjustments and refunds can be assigned:

If no unique template is assigned at a Case level, then this will automatically be set to "Service Contract (default)" which will follow the rules of the financial template set on the Service Contract that the Case is assigned to.
