How to check logs for user login

Updated over 2 months ago

There may be times when you need to review user login records — for example, for audit purposes or internal documentation.

In iinsight, you can easily view and track user login activity to see when users have accessed the system.

How to Check User Logins

  1. Navigate to the Admin section from the main menu and click on System Logs

You’ll find all the system-related logs in this section. You can filter the logs using different options such as Log Type, Date Range, or even set a custom date range to narrow down the results as per your requirements.

  2. If you're looking for the user login logs for a particular date range or some advance search click on the Blue Magnifying button and perform advance search

  3. Type in the keyword "logged" and select the search under "Message"

  4. You'll find the record of all the users login history for the date range that you have selected and the magnifying icon turns to orange notifying that you're view a search result.

Notes

  • These records can be useful for security audits, monitoring user access, or verifying login activity.

  • You can also export or record this information for documentation if required by clicking the "Export" button and download it from "Downloaded Reports" section

  • Only the users with Admin level permissions will be able to access the System Logs.
